Iran 2D film picks up prize in Venezuela filmfest

Iranian two dimensional animation ‘Bystander’ has won the Best Animation Screenplay at the Five Continents Int'l Filmfest in Venezuela.

Directed by Mohsen Bagheri Dastgerdi, ‘Bystander’ was awarded at the monthly organized event’s latest edition.

‘Bystander’ is a 4 minute short animation produced in a two dimension style that depicts a society that doesn’t support differences and tries to eliminate them.

The Five Continents International Filmfest is a monthly online festival, featuring products of cinematography, feature films, short films, animations, video clips and web series from around the world.

The cinematic event in Venezuela is an online festival, with live screenings of winning films. The festival’s latest edition was organized on June 1, 2017.
